Delete your account

You can delete your GhostSpeech account and associated data from inside the app.

How to delete

1. Open GhostSpeech.
2. Go to Account.
3. Choose Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes your account record and account-linked content stored by GhostSpeech, including dictation and rewrite history and any content kept through the optional Help improve GhostSpeech setting. It also disconnects your Sign in with Apple authorization and removes the associated subscription-management customer profile.

Your App Store subscription

Deleting your GhostSpeech account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in your Apple Account subscription settings to avoid a future renewal charge.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics are metadata only. They do not include your speech, typed text, prompts, or transcripts. When you delete your account, the account identifier on remaining diagnostics is anonymized, and diagnostics are removed within 180 days.

Limited retention

We may retain limited account, transaction, security, or support records where required by law or reasonably needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or protect the service. De-identified data may be retained when it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@ghostspeech.ai from the address associated with your Sign in with Apple account, if available. We will help with the deletion path.
